Breakfast
- Oatmeal with almond milk
- 1/2 cup of egg whites with red bell peppers
- 1/2 serving of Lean Shake (4 oz)
- Whole wheat pita
- 1 strip of bacon
- lettuce
- tomato
- about 5-6 oz of pork loin
- pico de gallo (tomatoes and onion mix)
- 1/2 cup of white rice
- apple
- raw almond butter
- 1/2 serving of Lean shake (4 oz)
I wanted to thank everyone for their support and encouragement. Saying it out loud lifted some heavy weight I've been carrying for a very long time. Thank you ladies **hugs**
Am I regressing? No. I can proudly say that I've settled that issue once and for all (it has been 8 years since).
I was doing it for the wrong reasons. It was not for the sake of being healthy, I thought if I become skinny, the ex wont leave me or cheat on me.
Seeing the old photo gave me the dose of reality check. I cannot continue to be complacent with myself.
I'm having an emo-moment, I know.
I'm just glad that we have each other's support. It's so comforting knowing that we're not alone on this.
I feel like there is always more going on in a photograph behind the glossy smiles and perfect put together looks. You are an amazing person following your dreams of becoming a nurse. You are MORE than just a number.

ReplyDeleteSometimes we need to look at the cold hard reality in front of our faces instead of sweeping them under the rug. Thats when it fact we are finally able to face the truth and move on from it. You are doing great, and you have a lot on your plate. ReplyDeleteI discovered Almond Milk over the past few months and I love it. I'm beginning to use it in recipes. It's a little thinner than milk and the taste requires a tiny bit of adjusting but other than that it seems to be working.
